Choir Ensembles

Coro Verde

Coro Verde is open to any 9th-12th grade student, with no audition necessary to join. It is open to all voice types: Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass.

Varsity Singers

This chorus is open to any 9th-12th grade low voice student, with no audition necessary to join. No previous musical experience is necessary to join this group. This chorus performs music for Tenor and Bass voice types, and performs every year at District MPA.

Treble Singers

This chorus is open to any 9th-12th grade student, with no audition necessary to join. No previous musical experience is necessary to join this group. This chorus performs music for Soprano and Alto voice types, and performs every year at District MPA.

Coro D’Oro

(formerly Chamber Ensemble)

Coro D’Oro is our top ensemble for treble (high) voices. This ensemble is open to audition for any rising 9th-12th grade singers. This choir performs every year at DHS chorus concerts, District MPA, and often qualifies for State MPA.

Deland Singers

Deland Singers is our top mixed ensemble. This ensemble performs not only at DHS Chorus concerts and District MPA, but also at State MPA in Lakeland, FL. The Deland Singers were invited to perform at the 2023 FMEA conference in Tampa. They have also performed with the Bel Canto Singers of Daytona, and for the Daytona Beach Symphony Society at the Halifax Yacht Club. This ensemble is open to audition for any rising 10th-12th grade singers.
